Nicole

Nicole Haney, founder of Papa's Place Adult Day Care in Big Rapids, Michigan, turned her personal quest for high-quality Alzheimer's care for her grandfather into a thriving senior care venture. With her background as a healthcare administrator, she rapidly expanded the business from adult day care into Home Care and Assisted Living. Within five years, she progressed from a startup to a full continuum of care focusing on improving the quality of life for seniors. Her primary focus has been on shaking up the industry standards and understanding of Dementia care. Nicole focuses on Dementia care for both the family, client, and professional caregivers by ensuring extensive care and understanding is placed on the individuality of the person(s) and their specific diagnosis.

Nicole's leadership and passion for Dementia have not only established new industry standards but also ignited her passion for the ability to develop the quality standard of care. For anyone that has seen the team dedication and thorough understanding and compassion of Nicole's team can fully understand her dedication to enhancing care standards and fostering growth in others. Fully evidence through the strategic advocacy and dedication to Tustin House being the first recognized unlocked Dementia specialty assisted living home.

Hi there! I'm Lindsey, and I'm honored to serve as the Administrator at Papa's Place. Three years ago, I found my calling among a group of compassionate individuals who share my dedication to making a real difference in the lives of our clients.

At Papa's Place, I have the privilege of working alongside an extraordinary team of care providers, each deeply committed to delivering the highest standard of care possible. What excites me most about my role? Every single day, I have the opportunity to lead a team that shares a common passion: supporting individuals in maintaining their independence at home, reintegrating into their communities, and offering families the assurance that their loved ones are receiving top-notch care.

Among the many moments of fulfillment I've experienced, one memory shines particularly bright. It was the day when one of our clients achieved a milestone that seemed almost unreachable – a simple stroll down the block to attend a yard sale. After months of unwavering dedication and hard work, I witnessed firsthand as my client reclaimed a sense of freedom and mobility that had been elusive for so long. From initially relying on a wheelchair to gradually advancing with a walker, the journey was a testament to my client's remarkable determination.

This moment encapsulates why I adore working at Papa's Place – the chance to serve as a catalyst for positive change and empower individuals to overcome obstacles. Outside of work, you can find me enjoying outdoor adventures, exploring new cuisines, or spending quality time with my loved ones. I'm thrilled to continue making a meaningful impact alongside this incredible team. Let's keep spreading joy and transforming lives together!

"Hello there! I'm Aubrey, and I've had the pleasure of being part of the Papa's Place family since September 2023. As the Northern Regional Manager, I've witnessed firsthand the incredible power of one-on-one connections between our care providers and clients.

There's something truly magical about the bond that forms during our visits—it's like sharing a piece of our hearts with each other. These personal connections make every interaction with our clients even more meaningful and special.

One of my most cherished memories at Papa's Place happened during a visit when my client's 3-year-old niece grabbed my hand and said, "Thank you for helping my uncle, Aubrey!" It was a heartwarming reminder of the impact we have on not only our clients but their families too.

At Papa's Place, we're more than just caregivers; we're companions, friends, and a source of comfort for those we serve. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a compassionate team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others every single day. Hey there! I'm Tabatha, your friendly Director of Operations here at Papa's Place. With over 4.5 years of dedicated service under my belt, I've had the privilege of transitioning from the field to the office, bringing with me a wealth of firsthand experience and insights. 

Before stepping into this role, I spent a solid 4 years out in the field, getting my hands dirty and making meaningful connections with our clients. What fuels my passion for this job? It's simple – the joy of helping our clients. Whether it's ensuring they receive the care they deserve or assisting them in navigating our services, knowing that I've made a positive impact in their lives is what drives me every day. 

Reflecting on my journey here, I've encountered countless memorable moments, but one that stands out is the time I helped a client fulfill their dream of going buffalo hunting. It's moments like these that remind me why I do what I do – to make a difference, no matter how big or small. 

When I'm not busy making magic happen in the office, you can find me exploring new hiking trails, indulging in a good book, or spending quality time with my loved ones.
